Provincial-Level New Industrial Product Appraisal Held Successfully

All eight new products submitted for evaluation were independently developed by Tiante Valve Group and are fully protected by intellectual property rights. Among the newly submitted products, a total of five patents have been granted, two are currently under application, three are slated for filing, and eight standards have been registered.

On December 25, the provincial new-product appraisal meeting for Tiante Valve Group, hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Zhejiang Provincial Association of Technology Brokers, was successfully held at the Bai Rui Grand Hotel in Hangzhou. The meeting invited renowned domestic experts in the industry to serve as appraisal panelists, including Professor Jin Zhijiang from Zhejiang University, Professor Lu Zhiming from Zhejiang University of Technology, Professor Wu Zuolun from Zhejiang Institute of Science and Technology, Professor Wang Leqin from Zhejiang University, Senior Engineer Zhu Hang from the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Development Center, Senior Engineer Chen Lilong from the Zhejiang Provincial Academy of Mechanical and Electrical Design, and Senior Engineer Zhou Qirong from the 52nd Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The appraisal meeting was a complete success: three products, including the ball-valve seat, achieved domestically leading technical levels among their peers; meanwhile, five other products—namely the double-disc flat gate valve and the top-entry ball valve, among others—passed the provincial new-product appraisal and all attained advanced domestic standards for comparable products.

The eight new products subject to this certification—QT347H top-entry ball valve, Z44H double-disc flat gate valve, D343Y bi-directional hard-sealed butterfly valve, J61H balanced globe valve, high-pressure forged-steel ball valve, Q347H metal hard-sealed ball valve, QZ547H top-swing-open ball valve, and ball valve seat—have all been rigorously tested by national authoritative bodies and found to exceed the companies’ internal standards. Following field deployment by end-users, these products have received unanimous approval.

This appraisal meeting received strong support from the local government. Ruan Yongzhen, former Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, attended and chaired the meeting, offering high praise for the outcomes. Director Ruan emphasized that innovation is the primary driving force behind enterprise development. Moving forward, Tianté Valve Group must continue to strengthen both technological and managerial innovation, deepen collaboration with numerous universities and research institutes on technical matters, ensure that its products and technologies remain industry-leading, and enable the company to operate more steadily and achieve longer-term growth.
